3 Lingcod plus an amazing Thresher shark!!

This evening’s charter enjoyed perfect conditions with a slight breeze and overcast.  There were 1/2 limits of rockfish along with 3 lingcod but kept only one 8lber.

The highlight of the trip was landing a 5′ thresher shark which we choose to release.  Mike hooked it while Bruce and Zach assisted bringing him on board. It’s good to note that we only forage what we will consume and will never kill only for sport.  The thresher was untangled and placed swiftly (after photo op) & unharmed back to his ocean home to join his friends..
